The Way
Women who know their way
May know a different
path
Embracing their own
power
They are the ones who
lead
And see truth as it is
A woman who understands
Knows with everyday
struggles
Not to succumb to
weakness
Rise above suppression
Then dare to be seen
And stand among others
Proud, strong and bold
Still graceful and
loving
They have kept an open
heart
A free spirit and open
mind
The way was not always
easy
But the reward is well
worth it
Old temptation lingers
on
If it speaks, it's voice
is old
Because it is a voice of
the past
Today women know
themselves

prayed to her I prayed to him
Why
does religion keep us apart
Then I heard this hymn
It
doesn't matter what you are
I
see you all the same
You
live with the animals and the trees
The
sun the wind the rain
This earth was made for everyone
My
daughter and my son
So
don't forget my child
There is room for everyone
